The Information Station is a one stop advice centre with 3 different organisations offering services under one roof. In partnership with Alliance Homes, Westonworks and Credit Union, The Information Station offers information, advice and support on: housing, financial services, advice on loans and bank accounts, training, employment, learning and volunteering.

Westonworks provides free confidential, impartial information, advice and support on support on: learning, training, volunteering, employment and working for yourself. We have a range of advisers who can offer advice and support on any of these subjects. Westonworks is a test centre for the CSCS Health and Safety test needed for work on construction sites.

Alliance Homes (previously known as NSHousing) is a not-for-profit provider of social rented housing administered by a voluntary Board. With more than 6,000 properties across North Somerset we operate from offices in Portishead (our main office) and Weston-super-Mare (The Information Station at St Andrew’s Parade).

North Somerset Credit Union offers fair and ethical financial services. As a co- operative, it is owned and controlled by its members, who share in the profits at the end of the year. All members live or work in North Somerset so our members are helping the local economy.
